RSL-cleaved recombinant human maspin

RSL-cleaved rhMaspin. Specifically cleaved at R340 by trypsin.
RSL-cleaved rhMaspin is reportedly inactive in tumor cell invasion assays. Unlike alpha 1-antitrypsin, cleavage within the RSL of rhMaspin does not yield a relaxed (R) more stable form of the protein and it is as sensitive as rhMaspin to polymerization. The RSL of rhMaspin is extremely sensitive to limited proteolysis by trypsin indicating that this process likely has biological relevance [1,2,3].
